We are going to enjoy our trip to the Nordkapp, no matter what happens or no matter how bad the weather. But we thought it would great if we could mix pleasure with fund raising. Our chosen charity is the Dove House Hospice (Love U 2 appeal) and you can donate at the link on this blog which will be very tax efficient or call in at MilesKingSport on Witham in Hull. In fact we'd be happy with any route you find to sponsor our trip. Make it worth my while and I will ride over to yours and pick it personally!!!

Dove House Hospice is a charity providing excellent care for people in the local community with life limiting illnesses. We are specialists in palliative care which is the total care of patients whose illness is no longer curable and for whom the goal must be quality of life.
Our services are available to anyone over the age of 18 years who has an illness which can no longer be cured. Care is provided for patients with cancer, neurological illnesses, heart diseases, respiritory diseases, HIV/AIDS and many other illness. Our care incorporates physical, social, pyschological and spiritual support delivered by a multi-professional team who embrace the family and significant others throughout the patient's illness.
There is no charge for any of our services as Dove House Hospice is maintained by funds raised in the local community and support from the local Primary Care Trusts.

- My friend, Tim Wade, and I are going to ride our Transalps to the Nordkapp. For us, its primarily about the destination as there are plenty of great roads to ride in Yorkshire. The picture is me in northern Germany on route to the Baltic States. The Nordkapp is a dream destination and is one of those points on the map you just have to ride to at some point in your life!
